Academic Program

Superstar School Academic Program

At Superstar school, we are committed to providing a well-rounded education that nurtures academic excellence, creativity, physical development, and essential life skills. Our programs are carefully structured to meet the needs of learners at each stage of primary education.

Lower Primary (P1 – P3)

Our Lower Primary program follows a thematic curriculum, where learning is organized around engaging and meaningful themes. This approach allows children to explore concepts in an integrated manner.

  • Continuous Assessment: Teachers conduct ongoing, formative assessments to monitor pupils’ progress, provide feedback, and support learning.
  • Learning Areas: In addition to thematic learning, pupils develop skills in early literacy, numeracy, physical education, creative performing arts (music and art), and moral/life skills.

Upper Primary (P5 – P7)

For Upper Primary, we follow the revised NCDC curriculum, focusing on subject-based learning to consolidate knowledge and prepare learners for post-primary education.

Main Subjects:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Integrated Science
  • Social Studies / Social Science
  • Religious Education (Christian & Islamic)
  • Creative Arts & Physical Education (CAPE: Music, Art & Technology, Physical Education)

Program Aims:
Our Upper Primary curriculum emphasizes language development, critical thinking, life skills, and readiness for higher education.

Transition Year (P4)

Primary 4 serves as a bridge from the thematic curriculum to a subject-based curriculum, preparing learners for the Upper Primary program.

The program focuses on strengthening core academic skills, encouraging active participation, and nurturing positive values such as discipline, teamwork, and confidence. Through engaging classroom activities, practical learning, and co-curricular programs, pupils are prepared to handle more advanced subjects and responsibilities in the upper primary classes.
